The KWC Blog Inc., Purchases The Miami Dolphins, Plans to Move Team #TweetFL

February 11, 2017

The Kids Wear Crowns collective recently launched a CrowdFund to purchase the Miami Dolphins from Majority owner Stephen Ross. The group organized an effort led by resident token white member Courtney Campbell who put her Social Work and negotiation skills to work to reach donors who thought she might have been a Trump supporter. The KWCBI released a statement upon learning that their purchase went through:

Oh. Wow. We really didn’t think this would happen, we were supposed to just take the money and run once Ross rejected our offer. The site has just been floating around and we really weren’t sure how to monetize it, so we thought ‘why not just harass people for money on the internet legally?’, it actually worked. Holy crap.

With several major Dolphins players demanding their release after hearing the news, the crew is beginning to piece together a group of replacements. They will begin operations after the 2016 Madden season concludes and do plan on moving the franchise to another city. They have launched a poll on their official website, TheKidsWearCrowns.com with a list of potential destination cities:

  • San Antonio, Texas
  • Orlando, FL
  • Toronto, ON, CAN
  • Salt Lake City, UT
  • Memphis, TN
  • Sacremento, CA
  • Columbus, OH
  • Portland, OR
  • Austin, TX
  • Oklahoma City, OK

Fan voting is now open and fans are encouraged to submit their preferred destination cities to @TheKWCBlog on Twitter.
