I WAS gonna do a Valentine’s Day themed playlist and still might drop one tomorrow or Wednesday, but for now I wanted to do this one.
Back in the 90s and 00s, a remix was synonymous with a posse cut, but there were times where Posse cuts were setout as the initial version of a song before evolving into an even bigger posse cut.
I defined a posse cut as any song with at least 3 (preferably 4) different artists/groups appearing on one song, so Goodie Mob in and of themselves or Nappy Roots wouldn’t count as they’re considered one act. I didn’t include songs that were remixes because I have another playlist for that.
