Memorial Day is Monday, and for most people, that signifies the beginning of summer. Cookouts, scantily clad women, and outdoor concerts. People wait all year for summer to come back around and we here at Kids Wear Crowns wanna help you make the most of this amazing time of year.
Find YOUR style. What are you comfortable in? Try to stay away from the trends. Wear what you like and try to stay cool. Tank tops, shorts and shoes with no socks will always be the move. Throw on a dope bucket hat and you should be good. Shades are always key. Nobody is saying go out and buy Raybans because everybody ain’t able but make sure you have a pair that adds to your look. As far as the ladies go, I’m a man so you already kinda know where I’m going with this. Sundresses and lots of skin. I wouldn’t steer you wrong.
Day parties are awesome in the summer. Try to go to as many as you can. Invite your friends over and get on the grill. Put together a dope playlist and let it be the soundtrack to your day/night. That being said, Summer Soundtrack 4 is on the way so be on the lookout. If you have a pool at your house or complex, UTILIZE it!!! Nothing gets people to come out better than a pool. Food, good music, good people and a pool equals good times. Just try to keep the negative energy away.
Concerts and Festivals
Outdoor concerts and sidewalk festivals will be going on almost every weekend somewhere close and they’re usually pretty cheap to attend ($10-40). You might see some things going on that you wouldn’t otherwise be interested in but I challenge you to try something new this summer. Never been to an Art walk? This is your chance. Discover a new band or artist, try food you’ve never had, expose yourself to people you never thought you’d meet.
Making the most out of your days is what this is all about. There’s no reason for you to not have a phone or camera filled with pictures of life being lived to the fullest. Nothing is worse than hearing tales of your friends having a blast and you weren’t involved. Memorial Day is the day you need to start living. No Excuses.
With that said, allow this playlist to be the soundtrack to your summer.
