The Ticket Window: NFL Week 6

Did you enjoy last week? 3-0 makes for a very enjoyable week so now I’m back to try and get you at least another two winners for week six of NFL action. So without further delay, here are the plays.

Los Angeles Rams @ Jacksonville Jaguars Over 42

Both of these teams are surprising a lot of people so far through five weeks as both are averaging 27+ points per game. This is a 4:05pm kickoff in Jacksonville so you don’t have a west coast team with an early kick so I do not expect a sleepwalking Rams team. Really don’t see any reason why both teams don’t score 20+ so when I saw this total I knew I couldn’t pass it up. Don’t care who wins, just taking these two teams combined score to be over 42 points.

Denver Broncos (-11.5) vs New York Giants

This one will be short and sweet. The Broncos currently have one of the best defenses in the NFL allowing opponents just 260 total yards per game. The Giants are dealing with an offensive line that can’t protect their quarterback, a non-existent run game, and the injury bug which just saw the Giants lose three starting receivers last week including Odell Beckham. Give me Denver and I’ll give away the points in a game where I don’t see New York scoring more than 10.

Green Bay Packers (-3) @ Minnesota Vikings

Sam Bradford is out after trying to give it a go last week against Chicago where he looked like he was nowhere close to 100% healthy. Green Bay is coming off of a solid road win against Dallas and has now had all week to prepare for a backup QB Case Keenum who has played enough that there is a decent amount of film on the offense with him under center. This is a divisional opponent so tight lines like this one are common but with the injuries that the Vikings are dealing with, I have only one option here and that is to take the best QB in the NFL right now (Aaron Rodgers) on the road and give up the field goal.

There you have it. Good luck as always and I look forward to seeing you again next week at The Ticket Window.
