“Trump Ain’t Bothering Black Folks, So I’m Not Gonna Worry About It”

I hate y’all. I really do. The complete lack of forethought within people really bothers the hell out of me. Seriously, like how can you not look at the #MuslimBan and not see the policies and procedures that can and will affect other minorities soon?

Listen. One of the top men in the circle of President Twitter Fingers is a White Nationalist. Not just a prejudice, older white male, no, this is a man who advocates White Superiority and will do what he can to make that happen. Even if you don’t believe Trump is crazy enough to do it himself, he’s essentially given this mad man the ability to draw up his Executive Orders.

I’m not gonna dive into the reasons why it’s completely contradictory and hypocritical for Republicans to no longer care about Executive Outreach that they feigned outrage over during the Obama administration. I’m also not going to sit here and talk about how Trump fans are spewing heated irony yelling about snowflakes while also having a hard time accepting when their dear Orange Leader makes a mistake or showcases how he has no idea what he’s doing when it comes to the office of the presidency. No. I’m not.

Cause my focus today is on you Negroes. You Negroes too cool or too woke to give a damn about what’s going on right now. I know it’s draining. I know it’s aggravating to see someone want help when we’ve been asking for it for years. I know that it’s easier to say that no one was standing up for us when we were hollering out Black Lives Matter and marching in the Civil Rights Movement.  That a lie, you know it, I know it, he, she and it know it. There were people there to help us with our movements, it’s not right to simply ignore someone else’s plight. People are being racially profiled for being too brown and not being from a country that Trump’s businesses are involved in.

So why should you care?

Who do you think they want to keep in their place after they’ve locked out those of the Islamic faith? After they’ve tried to build the wall to keep the Mexicans out? Trump, Bannon, Rudy and Sessions have all at some point in time made their feelings on black people pretty clear. They won’t govern without bias. They will try to bring back Stop and Frisk and other similar invasive policies aimed at us. They will try to repopulate the federal prisons with us, and when that time comes and there’s no one left to help us resist, what’s your goal then?

Call your senators, call your representatives, then call Democratic representatives too and hold them to the fire. Remind them this is unconstitutional, call out their hypocrisy, here’s why:

The most effective thing is to actually call them on the phone. At their district (state) office. They have to talk to you there,” she wrote. “That was a thing that shook up our office from time. One time, a radio host gave out our district office phone # on air. He was against our immigration policy and told our constituents to call. And they did. All. Day. Long. All I did all day was answer phones. It was exhausting and you can bet my bosses heard about it. We had discussions because of that call to action. If we started getting a pattern of calls, I called up our DC office and asked if they were getting the same calls and we talked.”

If you live in a blue state, you should definitely be doing this, if you live in a purple state, you are of the utmost importance, and if you live in a red state: go to town meetings, city halls, tell your mayor and councilmen to speak out. Alabama might be deep red, but Huntsville, Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Mobile can sure as hell demand a statement.

We’ve got a long fight ahead of us, don’t chicken out 9 days in. We gotta get President Cheeto the fuck out of here. He already laid out in his “New Deal” for Blacks what his plans are….

Here are some numbers
