Back in MY day our Music Television Channel and our Black Entertainment Network played music videos! That’s what they need to go back to doing even though that is not really a sustainable or profitable broadcast plan!

The most unlikely scenario finally occurred. Dr. Ray L. Watts announced that UAB Football would be returning with a few notable changes
Howdy there, KWC readers. My name is Fletcher Keel, and Ryan and Ron were kind enough to let me pen a guest-post for the website about the Power Rangers reboot/reimagining film that was officially released this weekend.

Enter the Power Rangers Freestyle, featuring @BaronAhmon, @ibRichieNoDoze, Chris Fogg and C-Teezy. You’re fucking welcome. You can download Low Ceilings Vol.2 Special Edition here.
Oh twitter, how we love and hate you simultaneously! While you’re a wonderful application that keeps people connected, keeps us abreast on the latest news topics and spreads some good natured humor. It’s also a source of recycled jokes, discussions and arguments. And yeah, you can simply unfollow the people on your timeline that are … Continue reading The 2017 Twitter Bingo Card – WIN A FREE T-SHIRT!

Disney is without a doubt the most recognizable entertainment company on the planet. They’ve gone through a ton of cycles, but the 80s and 90s showcased a brand new wave of animation from movies to series that introduced Disney to a whole new generations. Between the Disney Channel and ABC’s OneSaturday Morning, Disney gave us a LOT of quality cartoons. In the podcast, we take a look at the Top 15 they’ve ever produced.
I wanted to make a series to share some playlists with y’all. For those that don’t know, I used to do radio, both Sports talk as well as traditional talk shows. I used to love putting together playlists for my show, whether they had a common theme or I just took people back in time a little bit.
Who had the worst 2016? You tell us!
What was once regarded as both a powerhouse football and basketball conference, the Big12 is teetering on the brink of mediocrity in terms of overall relevance, and it’s all the Big 12’s fault.
The Kids Wear Crowns collective recently launched a CrowdFund to purchase the Miami Dolphins from Majority owner Stephen Ross.
This is Ryan’s post but I just wanted to post a caption here: This is the saddest rant I’ve ever heard. Yall pray for Ryan. Please.
Rumors have been swirling for the better part of a week now that Michael Vick would officially retire from the NFL. On Friday, he made it official. Now that Vick is finally walking away from football, we can take a step back and truthfully analyze his career and what he meant to the game.
We continue our Greatest Cartoons of All-Time countdown series with one of American television’s most iconic staples
I hate y’all. I really do. The complete lack of forethought within people really bothers the hell out of me. Seriously, like how can you not look at the #MuslimBan and not see the policies and procedures that can and will affect other minorities soon? Listen. One of the top men in the circle of … Continue reading “Trump Ain’t Bothering Black Folks, So I’m Not Gonna Worry About It”
Counting down Adult Swim and Toonami’s most historic shows of all time (Podcast)
The year is 1996: The Macarena is on top of the Billboard Charts, Independence Day and Twister are the highest grossing films of the year, and rap is still in an awkward state as far as its place in American culture is concerned. While Black America had embraced the genre, white people still had a major issue with the genre and it was nowhere near as universally accepted as it tends to be now.
In case you missed it, Entertainment Weekly dropped a list their Top 10 Cartoon Network programs of all-time. We’re not going to link to it because it’s trash, but we got to thinking, what do we consider some of the greats?
Which of the NFL’s Final Four teams has the best chance to hoist the Lombardi next month?
I said it last time this happened, but we as black people have a way of taking the horrible and turning it into something positive and funny. Black Twitter has done it once again with the #niggernavy hashtag.
This should be a relatively interesting postseason, at least for the NFC. The AFC really only features two teams with a chance to take down the Patriots, it’s their tournament to lose really. But there are still potentially entertaining matchups in the first round on that side of the coin.
Back in 2010 the mixtape to change all college mixtapes was released. It was an epic record that stole the hearts of millions. UAB Productions consists of rappers Richie NoDoze (then went by ATL), Baron Amato (then went by El Beezy), Chris Fogg (then known as Chris Nasty) and features appearances from Kylla Cam, C-Teezy … Continue reading UAB Productions Releases Low Ceilings Vol. 2, 7th Anniversary Edition
Every year we start and end college football season with the same general consensus: the only teams who have a shot at the National Title are those who exist within the bubble of the Power 5.
The winner of the 2016 #MerryLitmas is…..
We’re nearing the end folks, the KWC “Merry Litmas” celebration is closing down with 4 days to go until Christmas.
Can you feel it?
It’s steamrolling like Trump at a scamming opportunity
Like Bill Clinton with an intern
Explosive like a fake cell phone to Cee-Lo’s face.
I’m going to treat y’all, not only am I going to tell you who’s in the Elite Ate, I’m going to link you to the videos for your listening pleasure…to help you make an informed decision.
Let’s look at our remaining contenders, shall we?
Hello, I’m conducting a survey.
Who’s your favorite team?
I don’t care. Listen to my podcast, we talk Cowboys, Lions folding under pressure and how the Giants might have the best chance in the league to make a run.
Do the Cowboys have anything to worry about? Should Romo start? Are the Lions are a legitimate contender? Why was Jeff Fisher so bad?
Ryan answers all that and more on the first edition of SCORCHING HOT TAKES.
We’ve wrapped up Round 1, you can see the matchups by going here. Here’s who survived onto Round 2! Buzzfeed will have a post like this up in the morning, but like Ray J, remember, we did it first.
There’s a lot at stake here over the next three weeks, so let’s take a look at what could possibly shake, starting with the AFC
What’s the greatest Christmas song of all time? We’re putting it to our voters to find out!
Oh Internet, you never cease to amaze me.
Let’s have some fun combining rap with Pokemon like no one ever asked.
What can be said about Scooby Doo? It’s the longest running cartoon entity on television that’s still in production….that may not be exactly true but if the President-elect doesn’t have to fact check then neither the hell do I.
5 weeks left in the regular NFL season, 4 games left for your favorite team. How do they fit into the playoff picture?
Listen.
We know what it is. It’s politics. P-O-L-I-Tics. College Football when it comes down to it is about the blue bloods and the bigger fan bases, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Protip: If you’re going to revive an old “feel good” program, it might not be a good idea to revive a program best known for completely screwing its “winners” over.
Back in 2006 a fan recorded dub of an episode of the classic 90’s Saturday Morning X-Men cartoon made its way to a somewhat popular video hosting website.
(Warning: Language and Crude humor)
Before Pharrell Williams was known for outlandishly large hats that vaguely resemble the Arby’s Logo and making songs for movies about sentient humanoid Twinkies, you couldn’t listen to a hit track without him being involved in it….I promise this is about football
Life is full of important questions, what is the meaning of life? How much IS too much? What is it that Meatloaf WON’T do for love (he never clarifies) and, of course:
How you like your eggs?
Fried or fertilized?
It’s not what it looks like, this is a post about the NFL. Power Rankings.
That get your attention? No? Oh. Okay. Cool. Welcome to my brand new series, I don’t have a title for it because I’m not creative. It’ll discuss current or past moments that didn’t get the looks, attention or fame they really deserve. Sorta. I think. We’ll see.
Just when you thought I couldn’t be less creative, I separate our ranking tiers into television references. Join me on my descent into madness.
#1 Lesson in life: never let anyone you love treat you like the Steelers treated the Chiefs…
“Yeah, once Monday Night Football is over, you can just go ahead and crank out some rankings! Just put the order together as you watch the games Sunday and have an idea of where you’d put the two MNF teams based on how they perform. Pretty simple. Even you can handle that!” I tell myself as I sit on my sofa completing contact cards from the various college fairs I attended that week.
What happens when NFL teams stop being polite, and start being real? Nothing Nothing happens. I’m just arbitrarily ranking teams for Weeks 1 and 2.
Last week’s slate of matchups featured some of the most highly contested games we’ve seen in a collective week. As we head into Week 2, all the questions are on the table. We’ll try and make sense of it all this week and prepare for our first set of power rankings next week.
I don’t have to explain myself to you. I come around when I please. I’m the useless boyfriend that has been eating you out of house and home and dropping you off at work using your car to cheat on you. Yup. I forgot to post the pick results last week, that’s my bad bro. I’m … Continue reading College Football: Week 1/2 Pick Results
In case you haven’t heard the news, the Minnesota Vikings have traded for Eagles incumbent starter Sam Bradford. They didn’t just trade for Sam Bradford, oh no, nope, they gave up a 1st and 4th (2018) rounder for him.
We’ve been waiting on this moment since Von Miller and the Broncos shut down the Dab in February. Since the 1st overhyped Spring Game that we all salivated over. Since the NFL cancelled the Hall of Fame Game.
I’m Robert Raimon Roy As in that boy from the cul-de-sac of Provost Court: Still Jacksonville, Florida It’s alright if you haven’t quite heard of Rob Roy. He’s not a household name by any means and isn’t one of the most established artists in the underground realm. His style is jittery, spastic and at times … Continue reading Rob Roy is “Johnny” on the Spot with New EP
Hi. I’m a nobody. But I’m a nobody with an opinion, and you’re going to read it. I like to argue with people, it’s the primary reason I want to go on Big Brother, so I can make everyone mad and come in 6th. “What happened to the playoff series you were working on?” I … Continue reading ESPN Got The QB Tiers Wrong…Let Me Fix It For You
Part x out of 8 of our series continues. I don’t know how many I have left. Somebody pray for me, my fingers are acting on their own and I can’t stop them.
Oh, and I talk about the NFL.
Open Mike Eagle, pioneer of the Art Rap subgenre, drops a collaborative effort with producer Paul White. Can the LA-based emcee stand out in today’s rap climate?
No one knows what’s going to happen with the NFC East. Not a soul. But I want to guess anyway!
No one can predict who will actually make the playoffs this far out. But I can sure can tell you how they’ll miss it!
That is you, “everything is rigged” guy. A grown adult crying like a child because you don’t like the result of a sporting event. “IT’S ALL RIGGED” you cry weeping tears into your smartphone, “THE NBA IS RIGGED, IT’S ALL RIGGED, THEY HAD THIS PLANNED FROM THE START.” You turn to your wall full of team … Continue reading The NBA Finals Aren’t Rigged, You’re Just A Sore Loser
If you missed part 1 of our series, shame on you. You can find it here. Onward. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS Will make the postseason if: There’s any resemblance of improvement defensively. Okay, I lied. Defense needs to be leaps and bounds better, though to their credit they have improved and found themselves a bonafide corner … Continue reading How Every NFC South Team Can Make/Miss The Postseason
